The Home Office has announced that from the 1st July 2013, applications made on the grounds of the EEA Regulations will attract an application fee of £55.

This fee applies to applications made from within the UK on the following forms:

General EEA applications

EEA1 – Application for a Registration Certificate as an EEA or Swiss national

EEA2 – Application for a Residence Card as the non EEA family member of an EEA or Swiss national

EEA3 – Application for a Registration Certificate certifying Permanent Residence as an EEA or Swiss national

EEA4 – Application for a Permanent Residence Card as the non EEA family member of an EEA or Swiss national

DRF1 – Application for a Derivative Residence card on the basis of a specified relationship to an EEA or Swiss national

Applications from Bulgarian and Romanian nationals

BR1 – Application for a blue or yellow registration certificate

BR5 – Application for a residence card as the non EEA family member of a Bulgarian or Romanian national

BR6 – Application for a family member residence stamp

Applications from Croatian nationals

CR1 – Application for a blue or yellow registration certificate

CR2 – Application for a blue registration certificate as a highly skilled individual

CR3 – Application for a purple registration certificate giving permission to work in the UK

CR4 – Application for a residence card as the non EEA family member of a Croatian national

CR5 – Application for a family member residence stamp

Any application submitted on one of the above forms without the relevant fee will be rejected as invalid.

Applications made outside of the UK will continue to be decided free of charge.
