Process - Step by Step Procedure

This section outlines the way we provide our service, and the procedure we follow.

We prepare applications for work permits (ultimately signed for by UK employers) applications for the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (signed for by the individual) and applications for various forms of leave to remain as well as naturalisation (all once again signed for by the employer. In either case we can be instructed by (and paid by) either the individual, or an employer or separate agency. In each situation, the way in which we provide our service remains consistent.

Initially, and with no obligation, we usually begin by performing a free assessment and providing free advice based on individual circumstances. We then continue to provide assistance and advice until we get to the stage where we are confident that we could submit a successful application. If we believe that the application should be successful, we will offer to take responsibility for the process of preparing it and for dealing with the Home Office on behalf of the client. At this point we will ask the client to sign our terms and conditions, which confirm any guarantee of success, and also lay out the responsibilities for us, and for the client.

We provide advice on

  • Skills thresholds and other requirements of each scheme
  • Timescales and appropriate timescales
  • Advertising requirements
  • Immigration requirements and restrictions
  • Candidate or applicant supporting documentation and certification
  • Employers documentation

We then prepare the relevant application form, making entries on the form itself in line with all other supporting documents which are then collated and submitted with the application. We act as the official representative and deal directly with the Home Office on behalf of the client, employer or applicant as appropriate. We try to minimise the involvement of the client, and the work required from them, once we are provided with the basic necessary information. The applicant or the employer will always ultimately need to sign an application form. We see our job as being to take on as many as possible of the other tasks on behalf of the client, and reduce the time that the applicant or the employer spends. As far as is possible, we aim to minimise these to the point where the employer or applicant has only to sign the application form.

We are normally able to offer a guarantee, or a commitment to a positive outcome for any application. Our normal terms include a commitment that in the event of an application being refused, we promise to refund 110% of our fee. Once a client has signed our terms and conditions document and we have opened a file, we invoice for payment of our fees and all relevant Home Office fees. Alternative payment terms can be arranged with employers who sign a Service Level Agreement.  Any conditions, on which our guarantee might rest, are always declared in writing with or before the arrival of our terms and conditions document. Our terms aand explain clearly our responsibilities, and the clients responsibilities. If a refund of fees is due in any case according to our terms and conditions, then the refund is provided promptly and without delay.

Our procedures and commitments are detailed more fully in our terms and conditions. These are always issued to our clients before they commit in any way to using our services. If you have any specific questions about our services or procedures please contact us for more information.
