PBS Tier 1 (General) Points Calculator

Please note that from 31st March 2009, the requirements for the Tier 1 (General) scheme have changed to become more difficult to meet.

Applicants seeking “first permission” (not extending their stay under HSMP / Tier 1 (general)) will be required to have a qualification that is equivalent to at least a UK Master’s degree before they will gain any points under the ‘qualifications’ area.

In addition, in order to gain any points for previous earnings, applicants will be required to have earned the UK equivalent of at least £20,000 over the twelve months that they wish to claim for.

If you would like to know whether you do qualify, please take our free initial assessment below, or contact us on 0845 226 4030.

Please begin by selecting the country in which you were based during the relevant period, and then click on the button which says “click to update”. Once you have selected your country, please select the range into which your earnings fall over the relevant 12 month period.
